Dear People of the Internet:

I wrote a long post (find it below or in the main page) as to why I need you. Basically I want to have the “X” that will impress the people who are in charge of filtering applications. I want to show my human side by relating to fellow human support.

This post is to tell you how you can help me

I need recommendation letters that will impress a panel of Academia people enough so they consider me worthy of studying in McGIll University.

I want to obtain a Master’s degree in Comparative Law.

I should add that I wish I had this Idea before, but i did not. I am actually applying THIS Saturday 15 in the afternoon. I know, such short notice, but hey, good ideas usually don’t have good timing…

Needless to say that I already feel honored for all the responses. I firmly believe in human awesomeness and this is just another proof. No matter what happens it makes me feel that my application will be consistent with my spirit, so thank you thank you thank you.

I need your help.

Let me give you a brief introduction: I’m a foreign lawyer. I graduate Law School in South America and currently live in Canada.

I did so 11 years ago, and have been working as legal aid, paralegal, legal assistant, pro-bono legal adviser, lawyer when dealing with Movie companies Internationally, corporate lawyer, etc

You might know this already, but I am not the stereotype of the lawyer you think we all are. I see the law as a the limit we establish for public officials, governments and corporations; Yes they establish the common ground of the behavior we agree upon, but mostly I think law has become elitists, impossible to keep up and understand and for the most part used against common people and that (in my view) goes against the actual original spirit of the law.

So, I have been in this quest for truth for some time, I have met amazingly interesting people along the way who have helped me bring down some premises that I held as absolute truths and now I truly believe in the power we have as human beings to regain our essential power and nature in order to “turn on” our empathic gene and make this the world we all aspire and dream.

I am all for personal active behavior. I base most of my writings on the fact that we have let others do and rule over us by forgetting why they are there and who actually hired them.

I believe most of us stand in honor and do not fit with modern criminal commercial persecution; I believe that interests are being stolen from us to produce profit that does not come back to its original source.

Anyways, Stating my case for being a lawyer here ;)

Now, I need to move forward and have some “street credit” to continue properly my quest. So I decided to enroll in a Master’s Degree in Comparative Law, because I want to better research the origins and spirit of all laws bounding countries. i want to find that essential nature and the potential to unite and compile the power of the people that creates governments. i want to read the failures and success stories on our human history and learn from it. But more interestingly I want to be in Academia to also understand the process and train of thought of the people who believe otherwise. Why? Because I want to create a balanced theory, since we are all equal BEFORE THE LAW I want to find that spark of love that will leap us forward and out of the era of private profit war..

This is where you come in. I need to stand out in order to be accepted. One of the requirements of my application is Academic Reference Letters, but being so far from my Alma Mater its been really difficult. So then I thought It would be wise to replace them with professional letters since it has been my reality the last 10 years, but then It ocurred to me that I need something more “bang” in order to balance my failure of providing such letters.

So Bang could be provided by YOU.

Do you think I have merit to be accepted in this Master’s Degree of Comparative Law at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec?

Would do give me a hand and write it? I’m not asking for a big formal reference letter, just a show of support that will maybe capture the attention of the committee who will review my file.

Hey, At least I’m trying, right?

I need your help.

Hey, At least I’m trying, right?

Are we not an after effect group of people?

This is how its being played right now: The trendy word to use is Rhetoric. Why? because that is exactly what politicians use to capture you on their spells. They use messages and words to twist reality and paint a picture of either group-belonging primal needs, Hope-based desperation, Promises of better future, and power-to-the-people speech.

Spells. WOrds used to get the energy of your vote and voice. It happens every day, in every aspect of public office. And so far, no one says anything.

And then something happens, WE humans react in horror and We realise that there is something very off about it all (a little late by the way). And what happens? well, main characters in the politic arena then try and condescendengly turn and bend things around -again- with their rhetoric either using it to their advantage, as a press operation or even better as the real victims.

what is that?

Yup, more rhetoric.

What are they talking about now? Toning down the rhetoric.

I have an idea. How about you also turn down failure to keep the contracts you engaged with the people when they accepted office?

how about also turning down the fact that the interest most of them protect are not ours?

How about calling them on their promises and reveal how poorly they have executed the job we assigned tot hem.

Rhetoric? Exactly! No more Rhetoric. I want to see actions. I want to see submission to the real power of the people. I want to see respect and dignity. Honor.

Rhetoric. I wonder how many of them actually know what that word means.

I was born free. I was and am bound by nothing but my human shape and nature.

I am comfortable with all my insecurities and fears. I know them and balance them against my passion and love for life.

I don’t want to be lost in the sea of automatic behavior.

I dont want to be told that freedom is the fact that I can choose what brand i can wear.

I want to feel human. I want to see you, not look at you. i want to hear you, I want to talk to you. I want to let go of my rational head and wonder about the goosebumps life brings me.

I don’t want to hate. I don’t want to feed the violence being thrown at me from every direction.

I want to admire ants, not become them. I want to touch earth not destroy it.

I want to turn back inside me, I want to blame me and praise me as human. I don’t want to project these created needs outside myself.

I want to be able to speak without words, since most words dont belong to me. I want to feel my body expressing emotions.

i want to be balanced. I want to feel everything.I want to get in tune with my body and make it so we can both be the best we can be.

I want to be councious about my actions. I want to question things. I want to have doubts and feel awkward.

I want to extend my hand so you can hold it, not swipe my credit card to help you.

I can feel the empathic gene in my soul. I just want to activate it. Again.

Of Course I am outraged by an assassination. Of course I condemn not only violence but taking the lives and safety away from people. I do not agree with hate, rage, extreme behavior against others, intolerance, radicalism, etc

You get the message.

But I have to make a stand now for the way the Media is loosely referring to the reading list and/or information that was “found” on the shooter’s belongings/media/computer.

Wait a second. That disturbs me. I am not referring to the rants about doom and revenge against the government. No.

I’m referring to ANY information. Because it does not matter what information. Knowledge is free, and please note that I speak about knoledge not hate speech, not violent theories, not anti-human premises.

The questioning of your institutions and the government is healthy. The quest for truths that are important to us as citizens and/or humans is essential to our nature.

I don’t like the way the media is grouping EVERYBODY who questions the validity and effectiveness of the government. It seems too easy. It seems like using this tragic event to spread fear and discourage you to EVER pose a question to your political representative (careful, Walmart people might tell the Walmart police about your suspicious behavior) or read ANY piece of information about the origins and or workings of the institutions that rule your life.

I have to say this. I need to say this. Maybe because this whole thing is being spun out of control from every side and used for every possible end but the one that should be: Setting standarts for politics, remembering that the country (any country you can think)  is ill, sad, frustrated and in need of active politics that bring the actions people need to have proper dignity on their lives, their education, their means of living and more importantly their ROLE in their own environment.

WE need to be active. We ARE the power we think rules over us. THIS and every GOVERNMENT is OUR creation. The system NEEDS our actions to be better, to be good, to be effective. WE decided to ISOLATE not only powers but the people we HIRE (by ways of electing) to do the job we wanted it to do as stated in the CONSTITUTION.

Wake up, please. More propaganda, more bending and manufacturing consent is happening.

Go read, question, go to town hall meetings, call your government officials on their responsibility, take part in the change you want to see. YOU are the change. YOU create the ripple.

Many advised me not to write about this. Many talked to me about big brother grouping me now because of the message I carry.

But I carry a message of HONOR , I stand for a better understanding of our doings and the implications of our actions and/or inactions.

 I move towards an activist manifesto, where actions mean everyday conscious acts that include your surroundings. My premise is WE are one with the planet, with nature, with resources,with other living beings, with our fellow humans => WE includes the balance of all. We need to take part in ALL. Disperse  the smoke that has been clouding our natural judgement or existence.

There is no power over you except the one you decided to give away.

We are good by nature. We are  Empathic beings. We are way more than those who prove what I just said  wrong.

So I ask you. Would you rather be broken to the point where you dont care if Information is illegal?

-Don’t question the government  =>    How does that sound?

So I call the Department of Justice of the Government of Canada today to order a hard copy of the Income tax and that title is an exact quote of what the lady on the phone, speaking on behalf of the department of Justice told me.

Priceless I know.

I taped it, I will upload it this weekend.

This is all because I want a printed version of the Income tax act. Its over 2000 pages long and on bookstores or publishing houses is expensive. Then I realized that laws should be free for citizens since they are the rules we are supposed to know and abide, right?

Well, no.

I’m still sending a formal letter- request to the Department of Justice :

 I do not wish to be referred to your website, since I find it discriminatory towards people who don’t have access to computers or the Internet. Nor I want to be told to go  to my closest or Central Public Library because there I can only read it “sur place” and that is not my intention.

I am currently reading an amazing book by Canadian author Margaret Atwood called “Payback”. Its a historical view of debt and its close relationship with human development and Idiosyncrasy.

I would like to quote an excerpt:

……..” It’s remarkable how often the assumed debt of services in return for the citizen’s tax dollar is forgotten by governments at large. And once the money’s been spent, the people have no means of recovering the sums they’ve been forced to lend, since they aren’t the ones with the army.” ………

Read it again.

You are paying, your payment is a CONTRIBUTION, yet your Government is failing at giving you in return the services it stated in the original agreement. Do they fail when collecting your money? No. But do they fail when its time to provide common well being and-or BASIC services to ensure BASIC rights of citizens? YES.

Remember, you are a CONTRIBUTOR. Your money is being used to abuse you.

In a normal setting, a breach of contract leads to legal consequences for the party in default.

When you don’t “contribute” and put yourself in the presumption of default, the Government will persecute you.

I ask you, are we persecuting correctly the government on and by Its default?

No, we are still contributing and assuming its power over us. We have handed over our voice, our money and our liberty.

Still, its your consent. As human beings we can just grab it back. Claim it. Respond. State. Stand strong.

Dear Governments:

You have failed, you continue failing and you are in a deep breach of contract with the People. You have misused the power we granted you through the Constitution. You have expanded without authority your own power that was limited by the frame of the power WE granted you. You cannot exist without us, THE PEOPLE, and hence, we are determined to follow lawful suit against you in our daily lives. There is no more Power of Empire over me. You have proven to be ineffective and selfish in your objectives, you have misused and misrepresented my name as a Citizen and therefore I will bring you down from the Vessel you have built and dock you in a dry port of Justice. Until you follow our wishes and provide the services we created you for I will call you on your breach.

That is my conscious decision and manifesto on my actions from now on.

What’s the name of the money you give to the government in tax form?

That is right. Contribution. Not Obligation, not payment, not duty, not penalty => Contribution.

Do you know what that implies?

VOLITION

I ask you, do you agree on how the collective contribution of people is being spent by your government?

You are indeed contributing to it nevertheless.

I heard a lot from the Hopi Nation last night.

Its so simple and pure that it can only be wisdom, true human wisdom.

I recommend you look for their videos on youtube, start this year with the human message.

One of the things that stuck most with me was that they state that the first world war started with constitutions. And here comes everything that I have been reading lately about commerce:

What is a Constitution? Is it not the action of CONSTITUTE? just like a company, You claim property and the rules to manage it => you (the people) declare yourself as CONSTITUTORS.

Now, Constitutors of what? and under what right?

Just like the U.S.A planted a flag on the moon. As if we humans have omnipotent rights to the Universe.

We do not.

We went further though. We all at one point or another wrote a “bill of rights”. Not only stating the human obvious and at the same time creating gray zones, but also once more standing in our sense of EN-TITLE-MENT => as if we hold any titles to land, life, emotions, etc.

What about our responsibilities to our co-inhabitants on earth (humans and animals and life alike)?

What about the fact that we depend on earth and IT’S resources to live?

The earth does not need us. We desperatly need it to live.

It does not take a P.H.D to understand this. But apparently as a group we decided to ignore it. To declare over and over our hierarchy on top of everything, anyone and whatever we can imagine (and whatever we cannot yet).

Newsflash => All that is man-made will fade. We are temporary. The earth no matter what we are doing to it will regenerate or transform into something else. We, the people, will vanish, either drowning in our own garbage, killing each other or driving our entire race to the limit of our surviving resouces. For money and power.

This is not the end. Its a phase in the Universe. We just happen to be the minimal cosmic destroying force that perhaps brings balance to something else..

one last thought about the state of our psyche and our human de-sensitivisation:

Humans die less and less of “NATURAL” causes. They die of MAN-MADE causes.

I have been reading a lot about commerce. As in origins and they absolute human connection.

I am talking about first humans on the land commerce. About Egyptian codes, Biblical references to debt (Sin in Aramaic means debt) and the words that we use.

There are going to be plenty blog post about it. But just like I asked in the beginning if it has happened to you, now I see this everywhere

Give and get, creditors and debtor. Commerce. How we relate to balancing our personal accounting.

There is no getting without someone giving….

It is everywhere I tell you, everywhere.

Listen, I am as happy to celebrate anything as the next girl, for heaven’s sake I am Latino, we pretty much make a party out of anything; but more and more this new year thing is getting to me.

I get it, New start, new hopes, new rules, new resolutions. Right. But a new year is just that, a new year. Yes we should celebrate, why? Because we can, period; and also because the western world pretty much celebrates together.

Do I Celebrate? Oh Hell yes.

That is not the thing that bothers me.

Thing is, I think we live in times where we need to start thinking differently about pretty much everything. We can no longer stand still when the world is turning, literally. All the hope and promises made the 31st of December should stand now almost every day. We all need to change a little bit, we all should feel the need to be better human beings every day, every hour, every second.

So you let yourself go a little, fine, but don’t wait until December 31st, don’t even wait until the 1st of anything, just do it, you deserve it. So you want to quit smoking or you want to change jobs or you want to find love, December 31st is not going to cut it anymore pal. Your life is happening now and bringing family and friends together in an amazing new era of everybody’s life should happen more often.

This is the time for change, and no, not change we can believe in, just change, because even if it does not work at least you tried, and then you can change again until you get it right, whatever it is right for you.

I do wish everybody the best, but not for the new year, for their lives, everyday.

No, I am not a party pooper or a downer, on the contrary, I am inviting you to celebrate every day as a new one. If your new year resolution is already not working that well, screw the new year, embrace it and start over, breathe deeply and celebrate the 3rd of January, or the 12 of February or the 23 of march as if it was the new year, because it is, because every day there is a whole new year starting and while you wait life is passing you by.

Bring hope with you to work every day. Smile and try to be happier, perform random acts of kindness and always have present that any promises you make to yourself and don’t keep its ok, you just need to give yourself a break and try again, that is the whole point.

Happy new day, happy new hour, happy 2nd of January, happy 10 54 at night.

Go ahead, party all you want as if tomorrow was the 1st of January of any month…

Words have power. I have always believed it. Only I did not fully comprehend the full extend.

Language is a form of indoctrination. Its natural for us now because we are binded by groups, lands, countries, etc. But its not like we give words the power or the credit they have naturally. Its a civic agreement.

There are no coincidences in the makings of words. There are no light meaning to what we say yet somehow we use them loosely, giving away their power - or better yet, not recognizing the power they have  now over us.

There are things around us that rule our life that we dont think about anymore.

Why is spelling so important to learn?

Where does the word Spelling comes from?

That is right -> SPELLS. As in what we know as magic spells, only this is literally the powers the conjuration of words put together have over others.

Take the Legal world and its language for example. We think we are absolutely bound by the law, yet we manage to ignore the knowledge they carry. Its called legalese and most people think its a scam so lawyers can charge you a lot, but the truth is that is a sophisticated set of words meat to be a spell over you. However, message is not hidden, we have just lost the ability (and even the curiosity) to look into it.

Take for example the word Authorization.

Its the power of the Author of the writ. The writ being “formal written order issued by a body with administrative or judicial jurisdiction” <- thank you Wikipedia.

What deos that mean? that unless you contest the power of he or she who wrote the writ you must abide by it, since you gave or delegated your power or “title” for “them” to “authorize” whatever matter.

Look around you, read around you. Spells are everywhere. They are not meant to transform you into a pig but to bend your opinion, creating consensus (con-sense -> common sense. Common being of majority) making you easy to control and manipulate.

When we loose words in our culture we loose more power. We loose part of our history and we let the power of the spells to act over us.

Why does K.F.C does not use its name anymore? Because the word fried is not trendy and its considered a health hazard. So, did they make the food better? No, they casted a spell on you, re branded the name and got your consent, again.

What does D. C means in Washington D.C? Why is so important that you forget and do not question what is the District of Columbia? ( i leave you that one to have fun with in the world wide web)

You and I, we hold the power of our words. We can cast spells back, but more importantly, we can protect our currency (our opinion) with the shield of knowledge and consciousness.

Its your opinion, dont give it away just like that.
