In the land of violent disruption.

because yes, war is a difficult concept to explain. It is not something that you get to imagine living, more now that it seems that the world is smaller but human distance is greater.
How do you explain to a 5 year old that the history of the world is mostly determined by violent confrontation that pursues greedy interests and that dis-values not only the mere existence of the ‘enemy’ but the natural essence of what being human is.
There is no abstract concept that you can use to describe the reasons why humans can be that violent to others.
Hate, in itself, I believe is not something that can be grasped alone.
There is no hate without background, without baggage, without an emotional root that evokes the worst, that projects the emptiness of a soul in need.
There is much to say about something that cannot be explained to a child.
There is much to think to the fact that a child cannot really understand why something like war can happen.
There is much to re-member about ourselves through that.
There was a moment where there would have been impossible for all of us to comprehend such dark behavior.
Yet we read it everyday, we see it broad-casted live in all screens, we pass it by in the blatant inequalities on the street.
and I believe none of us can really still explain in our hearts the reasons why humans behave that way. We rather not, it absolves us from our responsibility in the land of present violent disruption.
